competition on Long Island, collecting 10,000 dollars for de-
mining in Croatia. #L#
The money has been presented to the organisation "Adopt a
Minefield", which in its four years of activity has raised 10
million dollars for mine clearance in mine-infested countries,
including Croatia.
Thanks to the fund-raiser, Croatia will be given 20,000 dollars for
mine removal as the US State Department donates a dollar for every
dollar raised by this organisation.
