Deronjic admitted that as chairman of the so-called crisis staff in
the eastern Bosnian town of Bratunac, he ordered Serbian forces to
attack the Muslim village of Glogova on May 9, 1992, when 65 unarmed
civilians were killed, all the residents were expelled and the
village was burned down.
The prosecution demanded a 10-year prison sentence, while the
defence recommended not more than six years.
A sentencing session was scheduled for January 27, 2004.
