ZAGREB, Sept 24 (Hina) - Jean-Claude Antonetti has been appointed a judge at the UN war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, the tribunal said in a statement on Tuesday.

judge at the UN war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The

Antonetti was appointed by the UN secretary general to replace
Judge Claude Jorda, who recently assumed his duties as a judge at
the International Criminal Court.
Antonetti will serve the remainder of Jorda's mandate until
November 16, 2005.
