ZAGREB ON MONDAY ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - The comedy "Autumn Spring" by Vladimir Michalek will open the 9th Week of the Czech Film, to be held between 22 and 28 September in Zagreb. The event, which opens this evening, will feature
seven films made between 1993 and 2002.

The newest cycle of Czech films will introduce to the Croatian
audience directors who started their careers in the early 1990s and
in the past decade gained a great reputation at home and abroad,
Czech Ambassador Petr Burianek said at a news conference.
The event is organised by the Czech Embassy in Zagreb.
Apart from Michalek's film, the Croatian audience will also have
the opportunity to see films by Halina Pawlovska, Jan Sverak, Sasa
Gedeon, Andrea Sedlackova and Milan Steindler.
Last year's hit, "Year of the Devil" by Peter Zelenka, will close
the Week of the Czech Film.
