CRES CRES, Sept 22 (Hina) - The 12th "Frane Petric Days" event, named after the Croatian philosopher, started on the northern Adriatic island of Cres on Monday. The event, to last until 26 September, is organised by the Croatian
Philosophers Society and has pooled some 90 participants from 14 countries.

The event is held under the auspices of President Stjepan Mesic and
with the support of the ministries of science and technology and
culture, and the town of Cres. This year, German foundations
"Alexander von Humboldt" and "Hanns Seidel" have joined in the
organisation of the event.
