ZAGREB, Sept 14 (Hina) - An anthology by Msgr. Giulio Einaudi, until recently Apostolic Nuncio in Croatia, was presented in Zagreb earlier this week to mark the end of his office in the country.
ZAGREB, Sept 14 (Hina) - An anthology by Msgr. Giulio Einaudi, until
recently Apostolic Nuncio in Croatia, was presented in Zagreb
earlier this week to mark the end of his office in the country. #L#
"Precious Service to the Church" is a collection of addresses,
homilies and sermons Einaudi gave during his 10-year
term in Croatia.
The president of the Croatian Bishops Conference (HBK), Zagreb
Archbishop Josip Bozanic, said the book was a valuable document of
Croatian history, about the first decade of independent Croatia and
its relations with the Holy See, and about the Catholic Church in
Croatia.
Einaudi said he was taking the book with him as the most beautiful
gift and memory of everyone he met and every place he visited in
Croatia. He added the book testified to and was the affirmation of
14 centuries of Catholicism in Croatia.
The book was published by the HBK and the Glas Koncila religious
weekly.
