PARTY LEADER: LS WILL CONDUCT FAIR CAMPAIGN

Osijek, Sept 14 (Hina) - The Liberal Party's (LS) Vice-President Zlatko Kramaric has announced that this party will conduct a fair pre-election campaign. He stated this on Sunday's news conference, commenting on the party's plans for electioneering in the fourth electoral unit covering eastern Croatia, namely Osijek-Baranja and Virovitica-Podravina counties. #L# Presenting the party's plans at the conference in Osijek, Kramaric said the issues which would be in the limelight of the LS campaign were the topics of high priority for eastern Croatia such as the de- centralisation of financing of local authorities, the construction of a section of the European Vc corridor passing through this Croatian region, the settlement of problems of agro-businesses and the state-owned farm land, etc. He added that his party was open for forming coalitions with other parties with liberal and democratic orientation. The leader of the Democratic Union of Croatian Hungarians (DZMH), Sandor Jakab told the news conference that the DZMH would continue cooperating with the LS, and if ethnic minorities' members were not given the right to double voting, he would call on Croatian Hungarians to vote for LS slates at the coming parliamentary elections.
