ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - The consumer basket of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia shows that the minimum living costs of a four-member family in August amounted to 5,114 kuna, 126 kuna less than in May.

Independent Trade Unions of Croatia shows that the minimum living
costs of a four-member family in August amounted to 5,114 kuna, 126

The average net salary in June was 3,998 kuna, which means that it
covered only 78 percent of an average family's expenditures.
Living costs, including food, housing, transportation, hygiene,
clothing, education and culture, were highest in Istria County --
5,780 kuna -- and lowest in Zagreb County -- 4,867 kuna.
