DUBROVNIK, Sept 8 (Hina) - Croatian experts and the overall
Croatian system are ready to respond to any potential challenges
and threats, particularly those relating to chemical, biological
or radiological warfare, Deputy Defence Minister Zlatko Gareljic
told a five-day international congress on chemical, biological and
radiological terrorism which opened in Dubrovnik on Monday. #L#
Gareljic said that the congress, which has brought together more
than 200 experts from about 100 countries from around the world,
would substantially contribute to the further affirmation of
Croatia and its scientific and professional potential in the
field.
This is the third time Croatia has hosted this kind of congress
since 1998.
