Among other legal drafts, the government formulated a bill on the
ratification of the international convention on preventing the
financing of terrorism and forwarded it to parliament for urgent
adoption. The convention was adopted by the United Nations' General
Assembly in December 1999.
The government relieved Frane Krnic of his duties as head of the
office for cooperation with the U.N. war crimes tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia and international criminal courts, ahead of his
appointment to another office, and named Jaksa Muljacic office
head.
