The party's Head Committee held a session on Saturday at which it
adopted a decision to that effect, saying that the Bosnian Croat
people has the constitutional right to Croat schools and teaching
in Croatian and the Latin script. The decision recalls this right is
based on international conventions and the Bosnian Constitution.
The Head Committee has accused the Croat-Muslim entity's ministry
of education of adopting unlawful decisions, unlawfully approving
syllabi, and prescribing the use of Muslim textbooks.
The Committee maintains the ministry is usurping the powers of
cantonal education ministers, and has called on the international
community and its High Representative in the country, Paddy
Ashdown, to protect constitutionality in said ministers'
activity.
