"Borders are unnecessary" in the Adriatic Sea, Rupel told a news
conference after talks with the president of the Italian province
of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Riccardo Illy.
"We expect Croatia to reply to our proposal on the establishment of
a joint ecological zone, by which we would express our joint care
for the Adriatic, which does not need borders," Rupel said.
