HSP leader Anto Djapic told a news conference on Tuesday that Sabor
should simply vote on the proclamation of the EEZ without any new
debate.
The HSP fears that in the meantime the Croatian government could
become compromise-prone as regards this issue, he said, explaining
that the Ivica Racan Cabinet was looking for the right moment to
proclaim the EEZ.
"Slovene reactions are not unexpected, they are the consequence of
Slovenia's policy of territorial claims on parts of Croatia. Now
they have received the firm answer from the Croatian diplomacy for
the first time," the HSP chief added.
