SPLIT, Aug 18 (Hina) - The presidents of the Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HKDU) and Croatian Pure Party of Rights (HCSP), Anto Kovacevic and Luka Podrug, said on Tuesday that "two well-known 'pyromaniacs', (Slovene National
Party president) Zmago Jelincic and (Croatian Serb National Party president) Milan Djukic, who complement each other in denigrating Croatia and the Homeland War, want to inflame Croatia which is already burning in flames."
SPLIT, Aug 18 (Hina) - The presidents of the Croatian Christian

known 'pyromaniacs', (Slovene National Party president) Zmago

Djukic sees the Flash and Storm military operations as Croatia's
biggest shame, Kovacevic said.
Commenting on Croatia-Slovenia relations, Kovacevic stressed the
HKDU and HCSP demanded an urgent parliamentary discussion on
overall relations between the two countries.
"The Slovenes are cheating us ... with regard to Piran bay,
Ljubljanska Bank, their army is still on St. Gera, they took away
our electricity for which they have not paid," which is why the
government should urgently send a note to the Slovene government,
asking it to disassociate itself from Jelincic's statements, he
said. Otherwise, Jelincic will be viewed as a spokesman for the
official Slovene policy, he added.
Kovacevic said "the incumbent Croatian government has failed the
national and social test and has put all its success to the service
of the return of Serbs to Croatia and submissiveness to the
international community.
Podrug asserted that the "moguls from the Tudjman era have remained
deeply rooted into the system even after 2000".
"The Croatian authorities need both Djukic and Jelincic because
they send specific messages," and can be considered "spokesmen of
the Croatian authorities," he said.
Kovacevic and Podrug said they were confident the two parties,
which have joined in a pre-electoral coalition, would achieve good
results in the coming parliamentary elections.
