MOSTAR, Sept 2 (Hina) - The Sarajevo Archbishop, Cardinal Vinko Puljic, was quoted by the Mostar-based Dnevni List daily as saying that he was concerned over the position of Croat Catholics in Sarajevo and that "too little is being done to stop an evil climate." #L# Cardinal Puljic said this following a series of recent incidents in Sarajevo when insults were hurled at him and other Catholic dignitaries at public places and in the wake of acts of vandalism at four Catholic cemeteries in that city in which several dozen grave- stones were desecrated. Cardinal Puljic again advocated the protection of the identity of the other peoples throughout Bosnia, in areas where they make up a minority of the local population. The Sarajevo Archbishop criticised the current reform of the education in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and opposed any model which would fail to respect the religious, national and cultural identity.
