PRISTINA, Aug 27 (Hina) - The Albanian National Army (ANA) has claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on a Macedonian army watch-tower near Goshnica on the Kosovo-Macedonia border in the night between Sunday and Monday.

In a statement released on the Internet on Tuesday, ANA said the
attack, in which there were no casualties, was launched in order to
weaken the Macedonian army.
ANA is deployed in ethnic Albanian areas in order to force the
Macedonian army to withdraw its troops from those areas, read the
statement.
ANA went on to say it does not recognise the absurd borders
separating Albanians, and announced it would persevere in its
efforts to break those borders until Albanians were reunited in one
ethnic state.
Former U.N. civil administrator in Kosovo Michael Steiner has
recently labelled ANA a terrorist organisation.
