ZAGREB, Aug 26 (Hina) - A total of 455,500 tourists were vacationing on the Croatian Adriatic coast on Monday, which is a 15 percent increase compared to the same day last year. Foreign tourists accounted for 403,400 and domestic for
52,100 arrivals, the Croatian Tourism Board has reported.
ZAGREB, Aug 26 (Hina) - A total of 455,500 tourists were vacationing
on the Croatian Adriatic coast on Monday, which is a 15 percent
increase compared to the same day last year. Foreign tourists
accounted for 403,400 and domestic for 52,100 arrivals, the
Croatian Tourism Board has reported. #L#
According to yesterday's data, the number of tourists vacationing
along the coast at the start of this week was by 100,000 less
compared to last week. Nonetheless, all regions and counties
continue to see an increase in arrivals compared to last year.
As was the case last year, most tourists - 199,700 - are vacationing
in Dalmatian counties, which is a 26 percent increase compared to
the same day last year.
A total of 2,400 registered tourists were visiting Zagreb on
Monday, a 41 percent rise compared to the same day last year.
