Today three canadair and two air tractors took part in putting out
the fire which has consumed an estimated 800 hectares of
underbrush, forest and agricultural crops.
Due to the fire, the Grablje area will be without electricity until
tomorrow, the Centre said.
The fire that broke out in Lonjsko Polje National Park in Sisak
County on Thursday is still burning but under control. About 150
hectares of grass and reed have been consumed. Firefighters
estimate there is no danger of the flames spreading to the
residential areas of Kostrnja and Strusac.
