The man, identified as V. M., is suspected of involvement in the
destruction and burning of a number of family houses and farm
buildings in the village of Josevica near Glina in December 1992
after most of its Croat residents were expelled in 1991.
According to the Office of the County Prosecutor in Sisak, in
December 1991 Serb paramilitaries committed one of the gravest
crimes during the Homeland War in Sisak County. Armed with
automatic rifles with silencers, they went from house to house,
killing 21 Croats and seriously wounding another in the space of
four hours.
