COPENHAGEN, June 23 (Hina) - The 14th parliamentary conference of
member countries of the EUREKA programme, whose theme is building
Europe's policy of changes and development based on research in
industry, began at the Danish parliament Monday. The conference was
opened by the chairwoman of parliament's committee on science and
technology, Hanne Severinsen. #L#
EUREKA comprises 34 members, including Croatia. It creates a
network of cooperation among science and research centres,
universities and companies in programmes which will make it
possible for research results to be applied in industry as simply
and efficiently as possible, so it may become more competitive.
