ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Foreign Ministry's Human Rights Department, Dubravka Simonovic, was elected on Thursday chairwoman of the Council of Europe's Steering Committee on Bioethics, which covers human
rights, medicine and bioethics, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Simonovic, who is a member of the National Commission for
Biomedicine, was a vice-chair of the Committee over the past two
