The two officials applauded the cancellation of visa requirements
for Croatian citizens and the temporary suspension of the visa
regime for citizens of Serbia and Montenegro.
Speaking about open issues between the two countries, Minister
Picula said he expected they would be solved more actively in the
coming months.
According to the ministry, Picula especially advocated the
application of an agreement on border traffic and, in relation to
this issue, a more liberal border regime along the Danube, as well
as the withdrawal of the Serbia and Montenegrin army from the border
with Croatia.
