SFOR troops were searching for Ante Gotovina, an indictee of the Hague U.N. war crimes tribunal, and tried to break into a Franciscan monastery at Scit.

reported on Monday. Eye-witnesses claim that SFOR troops were
searching for Ante Gotovina, an indictee of the Hague U.N. war
crimes tribunal, and tried to break into a Franciscan monastery at

According to earlier media reports, Gotovina has been hiding in
northern Herzegovina in the area between the hardly accessible
mountainous regions of Rama and Lake Blidinje in Posusje
municipality.
