ZAGREB, June 2 (Hina) - There was an increase in employment in Croatia in April for the second consecutive month, and the rise can partly be ascribed to seasonal factors, namely creation of jobs in tourism ahead of summer
holiday.

Croatia in April for the second consecutive month, and the rise can

This April the number of employed Croatians rose by 0.9 percent to
1,351,185 as against March, according to provisional figures
released by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
At the end of April, 345,294 persons were registered as the jobless
in the country, with a fall of three percent in comparison to March.
An unemployment rate was 20.4 percent in April as against 21 percent
in March.
