high Italian decoration at Thursday's ceremony in the Croatian
northern coastal city of Pula. The decoration was bestowed on him by
Italian Consul General in Rijeka, Roberto Pietrosanto. #L#
The state decoration, "Commendatore della Repubblica Italiana",
was conferred on Jakovcic for his engagement in the promotion of
bilingualism in Istria County and for political and economic
activities that contributed to closer connection of Croatia and
Italy.
