The bilateral meeting of Croatian Science Minister Gvozden Flego
and the Spanish science ministry's secretary-general for
scientific policy, Gonzalo Leon Serrano, was held within a
ministerial conference of member-states of the European
Cooperation in the Field of Science and Technical Research (COST),
organised in the Adriatic resort of Dubrovnik.
The interlocutors agreed that Zagreb and Madrid should launch
cooperation in oceanography, the cultivation of Mediterranean
plants, fishing, power and telecommunications.
