ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - In line with government criteria for the granting of state collateral, the heads and members of the managing boards of state-owned companies will have to sign a statement guaranteeing their companies'
performance with personal property too, Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac said, adding that the companies would not be able to sign contracts on state collateral without such statements.

granting of state collateral, the heads and members of the managing
boards of state-owned companies will have to sign a statement
guaranteeing their companies' performance with personal property
too, Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac said, adding that the companies
would not be able to sign contracts on state collateral without such

Explaining the situation in shipyards, Crkvenac said the
government had decided to raise the level of responsibility of the
managing and supervisory boards of state-owned companies.
The statement has been sent to shipyards' managers and they are
expected to sign it so their companies could receive funds on the
basis of state collateral.
