"We mark this day to remember our beginnings, the times when we
started creating the Croatian army from scratch. Today we can be
proud of those beginnings because we created an army that took part
in great battles for the liberation of our country and gained fame
with the final victory in the Homeland War," the minister said.
"Today we are facing new challenges. We launched a reform and
started a successful modernisation of the army," Antunovic said and
asked for understanding and support to this reform.
