ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Participants in the seventh session of the Stability Pact's First Working Table, held in Cavtat on Monday, agreed that significant results had been achieved in the development of local democracy, cross-border
cooperation, media development, gender equality and issues related to the youth and education, the Croatian foreign ministry said in a press release.
ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Participants in the seventh session of the
Stability Pact's First Working Table, held in Cavtat on Monday,
agreed that significant results had been achieved in the
development of local democracy, cross-border cooperation, media
development, gender equality and issues related to the youth and
education, the Croatian foreign ministry said in a press release.

The participants in the meeting, which was chaired by Elisabeth
Rehn, agreed that significant results had indeed been achieved,
however, they added that certain changes needed to be made in order
for the Pact to continue functioning successfully.
Priorities in the near future include the continuation of the
successful cross-border cooperation and the implementation of the
reconciliation process, the ministry said.
The goal of the Stability Pact is for countries in the region to
assume greater political and financial responsibility and develop
cooperation among themselves as a European region, as well as to
cooperate with the rest of Europe.
