A defence ministry spokesman was quoted by the Croatian
Television's flagship news programme on Thursday evening as saying
that the ministry was informed of the theft and that military police
were searching for the missing arms and thieves. According to the
first reports, there were no signs that thieves broke into the arms
depot forcibly.
An investigation is under way.
