BELGRADE: ARMY DID NOT WARN DJINDJIC ABOUT OMISSIONS IN SECURITY

BELGRADE, May 12 (Hina) - The military intelligence service did not warn the Serbian government that "the security ring around the late Serbian prime minister, Zoran Djindjic, is inadequate", and that "there are operative data on the premier's safety being endangered," the Serbia and Montenegro defence ministry's public relations office said Monday. #L# The defence ministry refuted allegations by some Serbian media that Serbia and Montenegro's army had warned Djindjic that he was in danger.
