MUNICH, May 20 (Hina) - Considering the fact that it is in a specific situation, Croatia believes that the U.S. has every reason to allow Croatia to postpone its decision on the non-extradition of American citizens to the
International Criminal Court (ICC) or to exclude Croatia from its request, as some NATO members have been, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said in Munich on Tuesday.

After a meeting with Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber, Mesic
took questions from reporters about his meeting with Prime Minister
Ivica Racan yesterday, which largely focused on the U.S. request.
"In any case, this is not a decision to be made easily, it is a long
process," Mesic said, dismissing media reports that yesterday's
meeting was that of the National Security Council, and explained
that it was a consultative meeting between him and the prime
minister and associates.
