Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Prefect Zlatko Komadina was elected
president of the alliance at today's constituent session. The
Alliance also appointed its Executive Committee, which under the
agreement can be subsequently joined by other counties as well.
Under the agreement, member-counties will support cooperation
between counties and smaller units of local self-government,
harmonise their stands towards state bodies and develop
cooperation with similar alliances in other countries and with
international associations.
