Eighteen countries erected monuments to the camp victims. In 2001
Croatia laid a memorial plate on the so-called Wall of Cries at the
foot of which wreaths were laid by the delegations of the Croatian
parliament, the Croatian Embassy in Austria, war veterans
associations and the alliance of anti-fascist fighters.
