ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier Slavko Linic said on Thursday Zagreb and Ljubljana had failed to come closer to a solution of the problem of Ljubljanska Bank's debt to Croatian depositors during President Stjepan Mesic's
recent visit to Slovenia.

solution of the problem of Ljubljanska Bank's debt to Croatian
depositors during President Stjepan Mesic's recent visit to

"It is my impression that we have not come closer to a solution to
that issue," Linic said at a government session.
Some press ran headlines saying the problem of the bank's debt to
Croatian clients had almost been solved during Mesic's visit to
Ljubljana.
Linic, who was in a delegation accompanying Mesic, said the only
step forward was the Slovene premier's promise to start talks on the
issue with his Croatian counterpart.
Linic believes partial solutions are unacceptable and that a
solution must be found for all Ljubljanska Bank clients in
Croatia.
