The talks focused on the realisation of World Bank programmes in
Croatia, the reform of the pension system, privatisation, labour
market, unemployment problems and reforms in the education and
justice systems.
Begovic informed the officials about the course and prospects of
social dialogue and partnership between the government, employers
and unions, as well as their importance for the successful
implementation of a number of reforms which are preconditions for
Croatia's accession into the European Union.
