BELGRADE, May 13 (Hina) - Belgrade's district court on Tuesday began investigative proceedings against 45 people suspected of being involved in the March 12 assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, with the
interrogation of Zvezdan Jovanovic aka Snake, who is suspected of firing shots at Djindjic.
BELGRADE, May 13 (Hina) - Belgrade's district court on Tuesday
began investigative proceedings against 45 people suspected of
being involved in the March 12 assassination of Serbian Prime
Minister Zoran Djindjic, with the interrogation of Zvezdan
Jovanovic aka Snake, who is suspected of firing shots at Djindjic.

Serbian Justice Minister Vladan Batic said that of the 45 people
charged with involvement in the assassination, ten were on the
run.
Among the suspects are former members of a special operations unit,
also known as the Red Berets, some politicians and senior military
officials.
Milorad Lukovic Legija, a former Red Berets commander, suspected of
being one of the chief organisers of the assassination, is still on
the run.
