All cases of alleged corruption will be analysed more thoroughly
early next month, while a brochure listing the most frequent forms
of corruption will be issued in a month's time, TIH president
Zorislav Antun Petrovic told a news conference.
Twenty-one percent of calls made in the first five days referred to
the judiciary, 17 percent to public state services, and 10 percent
to the health sector. There were also complaints about corruption
in land offices, privatisation, property restitution, land
allocation, and education.
The majority of calls -- 21 percent -- was made in Zagreb, 19 percent
in Split-Dalmatia County, and ten percent each in Primorje-Gorski
Kotar, Sisak-Dalmatia, and Osijek-Baranja counties.
TIH will submit data on corruption reported by citizens to state
administration bodies.
