The government also adopted conclusions that oblige ministers to
personally enable the bills foreseen in the National Programme for
Croatia's Association to the European Union to be sent into
governmental procedure with ample time so that they can be ready for
adoption at the next sitting of parliament scheduled for June-
December this year.
Bills necessary for the adjustment of Croatia's legislation to
European standards are a priority. The government will introduce a
new item on its agenda dedicated to the implementation of the
Agreement on Stabilisation and Association so that it can review
the activities involved in preparing answers to the questionnaire
expected from the European Commission.
At its session, the government adopted a decision to deploy five
Croatian military observers on a UN peace mission to India and
Pakistan (UNMOGIP).
