Expressing condolences on her own behalf and on behalf of the
defence ministry and Armed Forces, the minister said that the life
road of the late general deserved respect.
"Bobetko proved his opting for freedom and determination to realise
it, from taking part in the war of the anti-fascist coalition to the
Homeland War and the defence of Croatia's sovereignty," she said.
The exceptional contribution to the creation of the Croatian state
and Armed Forces is for what we shall remember General Bobetko," the
minister said in her letter of condolence.
