expansion of the Croatian political scene but too narrow to enable
them to come into power. #L#
"Everything breathing Croatian should run in the elections
together, and there are no small or big parties in this," Kovacevic
told a news conference.
He said the HKDU (Croatian Christian Democrats) was negotiating the
matter with the HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union), the Croatian Bloc,
the HSP (Croatian Party of Rights), and the Croatian True Revival.
Asked to say if the currently ruling Social Democrats, the Croatian
People's Party and the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) might form a
coalition at the next parliamentary elections again, Kovacevic
said that on the Croatian political scene "there are no divisions
into the left wing and the right wing but into the anti-Croatian and
the Croatian bloc".
"For some, politics is tactics, for others, good trade, and the HSS
will go with those who will give more."
