ZAGREB, April 9 (Hina) - Dalibor Blazina, a senior Polish language lecturer at Zagreb's Faculty of Philosophy, has won the 2003 Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewitcz award for his contribution to promoting the Polish theatre culture.

The award, which bears the name of the renowned Polish playwright
and pioneer of the theatre of the absurd, has been given by the
International Theatre Institute's Polish Centre (ITI-UNESCO)
since 1983 on the occasion of International Theatre Day, March 23.
