Following the commission's report about the theft, the gallery's
director, Zvonko Festini, appointed a committee to additionally
check out the findings of the commission. The committee confirmed
it.
Since a break-in into the gallery has been ruled out, everything
points to an inside job, the television said.
"The director and all employees at the gallery are interested in
finding the person who committed this act," said the gallery's
spokeswoman, Jasminka Poklecki Stosic.
The police and competent institutions -- the culture ministry and
the Zagreb City Office for Culture, founders of the gallery -- have
been informed of the case, Croatian Television reported.
