ZAGREB, April 3 (Hina) - The state will award athletes in individual sports, the winners of gold medals at the Olympics and Paralympics with 160,00 kuna (approx. EUR20,780), while athletes in group sports will receive 130,000 kuna
(EUR16,880) each. A gold medal won at world's senior championships will be awarded with 70,000 or 60,000 kuna. This is stipulated by a decision on criteria for financial awards for major sports achievements, adopted by the government on Thursday.
