According to PM Racan, the Croatian society still does not treat the
anti-Fascist struggle and anti-Fascist fighters in the correct
way. He, however, asserted that the incumbent authorities showed
quite a different and more positive attitude to the matter than it
had been the case before 2000.
Racan and his interlocutors agreed that all problems should be
settled by experts and that the issue of financial support to the
anti-Fascist fighters' association and other societies of soldiers
who fought in the National Liberation Army during WW2 would be
ensured from the current reserves until other solutions were
found.
