VIROVITICA, March 28 (Hina) - Commenting on a threat the leader of a disabled war veterans' association from Sinj, Drazen Pavlovic, levelled at him on Wednesday and his subsequent apology, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic has said
that "it is easy to apologise now" and "the apology is of no use".

disabled war veterans' association from Sinj, Drazen Pavlovic,
levelled at him on Wednesday and his subsequent apology, Croatian
President Stjepan Mesic has said that "it is easy to apologise now"
and "the apology is of no use". #L#
"However, the person who issued the threat and later apologised is
not the main culprit. More problematic are those who had written
what he read out and who incited those who issue threats," Mesic
said during a visit to Virovitica on Friday.
Commenting on yesterday's fight between Serb and Croat students in
a Vukovar high-school, Mesic said one "should not treat every
conflict, especially among children, as an inter-ethnic conflict,
thus attaching to it more importance than it deserves".
