ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - The Zagreb county state prosecutor's office requested police on Wednesday to interview Drazen Pavlovic on suspicion that a statement he made earlier in the day constituted a threat to the prime minister and
the president.

County state prosecutor Krunoslav Canjuga told Hina his office had
learned about Pavlovic's statement from the media and urged police
to interrogate him in view of establishing if the statement
represented a threat against an official, a crime for which the law
envisages a prison sentence ranging between three months and three
years.
Canjuga said his office would decide about further action following
the police hearing.
