ZAGREB, March 18 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's Committee for
Internal Affairs and National Security has received no official
information or a rebuttal from the government regarding writings in
the media, according to which Prime Minister Ivica Racan received a
death threat ahead of his departure for Belgrade to attend Serbian
Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic's funeral. #L#
Committee chairman Ante Markov said he did not want to speculate
until official information arrived, and for now knew only what had
been published in today's press -- that ahead of his leaving for
Belgrade, Racan had been warned that he could suffer an
assassination attempt.
