The European Parliament does not exclude force but only when every
other peaceful means has been exploited, Lalumiere pointed out
during her working visit to Croatia.
However the action has to develop within lawful frameworks she
said.
Croatia fully supports that approach, Arlovic said. He briefed his
guest that Zagreb had received the American criticism towards
Croatia because of its attitude that it would only support military
action following the UN's mandate.
Croatia wanted to express its attitude that the struggle against
international terrorism was legal and legitimate only within the
framework of decisions brought by the international community,
Arlovic said.
Lalumiere expressed her satisfaction with Croatia's attitude which
was in agreement with the opinion prevalent in the EU.
