If the war should last long, a number of world institutions could be
seriously destabilised, Tomcic said.
"Croatia's stands were clear, we expected dialogue or a
postponement of the war to be achieved by diplomatic means," he
said.
Tomcic would not comment on the US Ambassador's claims in an
interview to a Croatian weekly that Croatia would face the
consequences of its not siding with America, saying he had not read
the interview.
The Sabor Presidency will tomorrow hold a session due to the war in
Iraq. The session, which will also be attended by party whips, will
be informed by Vice-Premier Goran Granic and Foreign Minister
Tonino Picula about the government's stands towards the Iraqi
crisis.
